Come the Vampocalypse...

Nearly two weeks since the Commandery event - doesn't time fly!  Or is that just when I throw the alarm clock out of the window...? Anyway, in a mini retrospective, Sunday at The Commandery saw us sharing a trading room with the fabulous Amy's Steampunk (Curiosities) Emporium, manufacturers of steampunk marvels...

Sarah (of Amy's - Amy is the husky!) has now read both of The Automata Wars books; and was a great advocate to those who came in!  Tag-team selling abounded, as Amy's bookmarks make a wonderful pairing with one of our books...  Amy's Emporium will have  details of The Automata Wars books with them as they head out and about - do make sure to take a look at their stall!

Amy's Emporium were just some of the many friends encountered at the Commandery, and it was a great couple of days.
Thanks also to those who came along to both workshop sessions on Monday - those events featured our youngest ever attendees, all of whom were very knowledgeable about The Hobbit!  And especial thanks go to Jo and the staff of the Commandery for making the event happen.

Our next event is Steampunk Doncaster,  where along with Steven C. Davis I'll be holding a book reading, and also performing the last 'Hobbit - Steampunk'd' workshop for a while, so don't miss it if you want to take part.  If that isn't enough, Crimson Clocks will also be performing at the Saturday evening event at Doncaster, alongside BB Blackdog and Montague Jacques Fromage, with burlesque from Scarlet Butterfly - more details for that on the events page.

If you can't wait until Doncaster, don't forget you can catch occasional whitterings from me on the GASP (Gothic, Alternative, Steampunk and Progressive) web radio show, hosted by Steven C. Davis on BLAST1386, every Tuesday 8-10pm UK time.  This week:  a Zombageddon Vs Vampocalypse special - tune in, and don't forget to join the facebook event for extra ideas on how to survive  (or possibly for recipes for brains...)
